About The Royal Montreal Hockey Club
, also known as the Montreal Royals, was a Canadian amateur ice hockey club formed in Montreal, Canada. In 1932 it operated various teams in men’s junior and senior leagues until 1961. The senior team of the club won the Allan Cup men’s championship in 1939 and 1947, and the junior team of 1949 won the Memorial Cup junior’s men’s Canadian championship.
About Roger Léger

( March 26, 1919 – April 7, 1965 ) Léger was a professional ice hockey player who played 187 games in the national Hockey League (NHL). He played with the Montreal Canadiens and New York Ranger. In a era when defender rarely went on the offensive Leger was always a threat to opposing goaltenders. Standing at 5-11, 200 pounds, he’s a real scoring machine in the junior ranks when he gets his first NHL shot with the New York Rangers.
